GREENWICH, NY – Fair food, tractor pulls and farm animals drew large crowds to the Washington County Fair the week of August 19th – 25th. “The Big Push” Birthing Center was a hit as families gathered to see the live birthing of calves. Veterinarians were on call to help and a herdsperson catered to the cows 24 hours a day. Beer tastings with local breweries and wineries were also popular on Tuesday & Friday. Fair goers lined up to get their fill of maple treats from the Sugar House.
We handed out almost 1,000 postcards promoting Winter Raptor Fest (WRF) 2020 at the Grassland Bird Trust’s (GBT) Booth in the County Bounty Building. We had several special visitors throughout the week and gave away two (2) VIP Passes to WRF and a Free 1-year Family Membership to two lucky winners!
